In late December, Mason Thomas of Muscogee Lodge was elected the Southern Region Chief for the Order of the Arrow. Since Mason was currently serving as Section Chief of SR-5, a special election was called. Past AKK Lodge Chief, Josh Hipps, was elected to serve the remainder of the term until Dixie Fellowship. The AKK History Committee will have the new pages ready for your history books at the Winter Banquet in February 2008. There will be 4 new pages featuring the 2007 Dixie delegate patch, the 2007 AKK blue border fundraiser patch, the 2000-2005 LLDC patch and segments, and the 2007 spring and fall fellowship patches. The 4 NEW pages will be $0.75 each or $3 for all 4. Should anyone still need the additional pages from last year, there are still a few left at $0.75 each or $3 for all 4. Also, if you need a complete book, there will be some complete serialized history books including the new 2007 pages for $35. One more thing, the Committee will have some draft copies of history pages featuring AKK chapter patches.  We would like for anyone that knows anything at all about these patches to please see Johnny Smith at the banquet and give him the year the chapter patch was issued, the designer, the quantity made, and a little history about each chapter patch.
