Description
This issue is without argument the best OA item from the state of South Carolina. The Atta Kulla Kulla "triangle" was issued in the late 1940s? early 1950s? and is an issue that most Dixie traders have never seen much less owned. About 3 years ago an old farmer walked into the Greenville, SC TOR because of ad he saw in the paper. Having been a Scout many moons ago he brought in a little box of some patches he had. In the box was an AKK X1 "triangle" off the neckerchief. You can imagine the buzz around the Easley National Guard Armory! Needless to say a wily old trader from Houston, Texas got the patch with some smooth talking and a 4 figure check. Later the Shulls (Robert and Jason) purchased this patch for $3,000+++. This offering on ebay is better. It is ON THE ORIGINAL SILK NECKERCHIEF! There is not a mark or stain anywhere on this beauty. I scanned it in tight to let you see the patch but trust me the silk scarf is perfect. Simply put you won't find a better example of the best patch from the Palmetto state. Robert and Jason Shull have decided to let this one go and someone is going home with the "Akk Triangle".
Check out the image scan to verify identification. Buyer agrees to pay $1.25 for shipping and handling. Insurance is extra. I accept checks and money orders for payment. If you have any questions concerning the item contact me via email. Happy Bidding!
